The has retained an engineer to design the extension of the existing 2.5 miles of paved trail that the Town of Malta paved in two phases over the last 5 years. The trail will be improved over the 8 mile distance from Ballston Spa through Round Lake and the northeast corner of the Town of Clifton Park to Coons Crossing in the northwest corner of the Town of Halfmoon. This will form the backbone of a County wide system of trails when construction is complete.. |

Saratoga County received a TEA-21 grant to complete the Zim Smith Trail from Ballston Spa to Coons Crossing in Halfmoon. Cutting and clearing brush that, over the years, has encroached on the trail is now complete. |
